Greg Stoner
Biography
Greg Stoner is CTO of Machine Learning for AMD’s Radeon Technologies Group. He serves as managing director and chairman of the board for the HSA Foundation. He also serves on the board of OpenACC and OpenCAPI.
Stoner has a strong professional background in the computing industry with over 20 years of experience in hardware and application development. Prior to AMD, he was head of technology at Digital Domain driving software engineering, pipeline development and datacenter efforts. He has held positions at Intel, AGEIA Technologies, Metrowerks (A Motorola company) and MIPS Technology.
Stoner did advanced studies in business at Stanford University and undergraduate studies in Material Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan.
