Biography
Dr. Ce-Kuen Shieh received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from National Cheng Kung University in 1988. He joined the faculty in EE Department at the same university from 1983, and was promoted to Full Professor in 1998. He ever visited Bell Laboratory, Murry Hill, New Jersey, U.S.A. as a Postdoctoral Member of Technical Staff (PMTS) during 1989-1990. He had chaired the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Cheng-Kung University during 2002 – 2005. From 2005 to 2011, he had served as the Director of Computer and Network Center, National Cheng-Kung University. Currently, he serves as the Director General of the National Center for High-performance Computing, National Applied Research Laboratory, Taiwan (2013~).
