Vyacheslav Olshevsky

Biography
Dr Vyacheslav Olshevsky is a researcher at KTH Stockholm. He is an expert in HPC simulations of plasmas, data analysis and visualization. His primary interests are in development of new particle-based methods for CFD and plasma modeling, and high-level parallelization using Python. After obtaining his PhD in Solar Physics from the Main Astronomical observatory in Kiev (Ukraine) in 2010, he did a postdoc at the Center for Turbulence Research at Stanford, and was a research associate at the Center for Plasma Astrophysics in the University of Leuven, Belgium. Since July 2018 Vyacheslav is a researcher at the Department of Computational Science and Technology of the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.
