Kristi Lanier is a senior marketing writer for Cray Inc. where she has been telling supercomputing stories for 10 years. But her love for great content and gripping stories goes back to elementary school when she wrote her first (very much non-award-winning) story about Kirby and the Giant Purple Monster (illustrations included – her art skills have not improved since). Realizing she missed writing essays post-college, she decided to make writing a career. Kristi has covered topics from acrobatics to Shakespeare as a journalist, editor, English literature tutor, and freelance writer. She ultimately found her groove in marketing for the HPC industry because in tech every day is a lesson in something new.
