Biography
Pete Bradley is a Fellow in High Performance Computing and Modeling at United Technologies Pratt & Whitney. For over 25 years, he has driven advanced computing applications for aerospace design and manufacturing. He currently leads Pratt & Whitney’s state of the art High Performance Computing operation and the application of HPC-enabled tools for aerodynamic and structural design. In the early 90s, Mr. Bradley was a developer of Pratt & Whitney’s pioneering PROWESS grid computing system, which used cycle stealing on thousands of desktop workstations at night for parallel Computational Fluid Dynamics. He led a highly successful Department of Energy INCITE (Innovative and Novel Computational Impact on Theory and Experiment) award project advancing parallel combustion modeling and is a visiting lecturer in Computer Science at Trinity College, Hartford, CT. An energetic advocate for computer modeling to drive innovation and competitiveness, Mr. Bradley brings a real-world perspective to technical topics.
