Kevin Hughes currently works for Cray in their Austin Texas office on system management architecture for next generation supercomputers, which includes the current Cray Redfish implementation, along with fellow architect Steve Martin. He previously worked at IBM Cloud Innovation Lab in Austin Texas as head of their virtual networking group, and at Dell EMC in Round Rock Texas as a Senior Principal Engineer in the Dell Networking Advanced Engineering group. He spent over a decade at McDATA Corporation and Brocade Inc., engineering firmware for Fibre Channel switches and directors, and prior to that owned a small consulting business that provided embedded software for real time engineering, process control systems, and flight simulation environments.
