Biography
Stefano Markidis is Associate Professor in High Performance Computing at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He holds a MS degree from Politecnico di Torino and a PhD degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining KTH, he was graduate research assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and postdoc at KU Leuven. Stefano won two R&D100 awards in 2005 and 2017 as part of the CartaBlanca and SHIELDS projects. He is author and coauthor of more than one hundred peer-reviewed publications.
